Asuka is a highly respected member of the women’s division on Friday Night Smackdown. She is one of the most ruthless in-ring competitors in the company and ay respect her for good reason. She is currently part of Damage CTRL and decided to shut down a fan who was mocking The Kabuki Warriors name.
Asuka turned heel on Smackdown last month, as she aligned herself with Damage CTRL, especially because Kairi Sane was there. Naturally, fans wanted to see The Kabuki Warriors back afterwards.
During last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, the Kabuki Warriors were in action for the first time in over three years. Asuka and Kairi Sane reunited for the first time since Sane returned to WWE.
A fan took to Twitter and ridiculed the Kabuki Warriors name, stating that women don’t participate in traditional Kabuki plays. Asuka took to Twitter and shut down that fan, making it clear the fan didn’t know Japanese knowledge at all.
‘‘It’s funny because Not that Kabuki.
We know more about Japanese culture than you do.”
We will have to wait and see how Asuka and Kairi Sane will remain booked on Friday Night SmackDown in the coming months. After all, fans are just happy to see them back again for good.
What do you think of what Asuka said? Are you glad The Kabuki Warriors are back again? Sound off in the comments section below!
