Bryan Danielson’s accolades as a professional wrestler most definitely do not need any introduction, as they proved to be one of the best in the business. He spent several years working in WWE as one of their top stars and towards the end of his run. He is a bonafide star in AEW now and Danielson even performed his signature ‘yes’ chants after AEW Collision despite not being allowed to.

Danielson became the leader of the ‘Yes!’ movement after becoming the top star in WWE and one of the greatest babyfaces in the history of pro wrestling. Danielson shouting the word “Yes” was inspired by former UFC fighter Diego Sanchez.

After arriving at AEW, Bryan Danielson admitted that he wasn’t sure if he could use the ‘Yes!’ chants in the company. During AEW Collision this week, Danielson squared off against Brody King in a Continental Classic match.

Following the conclusion of AEW Collision, Bryan Danielson actually performed the ‘Yes!’ chant himself, while admitting that he wasn’t allowed to perform the chants but defied orders anyway.

Dammit guys, you know I’m not allowed to do that. Oh the hell with it, nobody’s gonna tell on me, are they? This is for you guys only, put your cameras down, wink wink. I just wanna say, do I love the people of Dallas, Texas?”

We will have to wait and see whether WWE will end up reacting to what Bryan Danielson did. Knowing Danielson and WWE’s relationship, it is unlikely they will actually take action.

What do you think of Bryan Danielson starting the ‘Yes!’ chants himself in AEW? Did you miss him doing these chants? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
