Charlotte Flair is the Queen of WWE, who has established herself as one of the greatest in-ring competitors in the history of WWE. Sadly, she is out of action due to a knee injury and will now be undergoing surgery for the same soon.

On the December 8th episode of WWE SmackDown, Charlotte Flair squared off against Asuka in a highly anticipated bout. With Damage CTRL present ringside, the match could have gone either way. That said, The Queen fell lost to The Empress of Tomorrow after Bayley interfered in the match.

What followed raised concerns among fans and WWE talent alike. Reports started circulating that Charlotte Flair might have sustained an injury during the match. In a distressing moment, she was seen clutching her knee and crying out, “My knee!” Medical personnel rushed to her side after the match, making fans genuinely worry about her well-being.

During WWE SmackDown this week, it was revealed that Charlotte Flair will be out of action for 9 months. According to PWInsider, Charlotte Flair will be undergoing knee surgery soon, as it is being scheduled around the holiday season.

Charlotte Flair is slated to undergo knee surgery in the weeks ahead, PWInsider.com has confirmed.  We are told that the surgery is being scheduled around the holidays, which is why it hasn’t happened yet.

In speaking to one source about the injury, it was described as “likely worse than” just a torn ACL and that there were additional knee injuries but they declined to specify what they may have been.  The torn ACL was rumored among talents at Raw this past Monday.”

This is certainly sad for Charlotte Flair, who was just getting back into the thick of things following an extended hiatus earlier this year. Regardless, it remains to be seen what WWE will have planned for her once she returns.
