WWE is currently engaged in new television talks for RAW, and a lot is at stake. Right now, it appears that information is being locked down in a big way.

CM Punk return to WWE appears to have led to brand-new opportunities, with Endeavor’s Mark Shapiro, along with Nick Khan and Paul Levesque, holding meeting with WBD on Monday morning. There is also a chance that this whole situation could be a big internal smokescreen.

Triple H missed WWE RAW a couple of weeks ago, and reports were that he was in Los Angeles with Nick Khan, on important business. That business was rumored to involve ongoing television talks for WWE RAW.

Haus of Wrestling noted that a WWE source noted that executives in the company may be kayfabing this situation a bit, as they may be altering their schedules to keep any television talks quiet.

This morning, much of what I reported on yesterday’s show was reported elsewhere as fact, eliciting an unprompted text from the same WWE source saying, “This is all very strange.” During a follow-up phone call, it was relayed to me that WWE executives may be “kayfabing” those in the company by altering their internal schedules, but that was just speculation. If these talks are happening, they are protected at the highest level.

Although there is some doubt about CM Punk’s actual pull to get a television deal going with Warner Bros Discovery, it appears that things may be moving in that direction. Nobody within the company is confirming these talks.

Ringside News has reached out to confirm this story about CM Punk’s influence bringing Warner Bros Discovery into the situation with WWE’s television talks, but we have not been able to confirm this story. Obviously, there is a lot more to unpack here in this high-dollar deal.
