Randy Orton returned to WWE after an 18-month absence from the ring. A lot of things in WWE changed during that time, but his entrance music remained the same. There was apparently talk about switching that up.

Randy Orton’s return saw him sign with SmackDown, where he has Roman Reigns in his crosshairs. There is a chance that Orton may see his WWE entrance music get switched up along the way.

Fightful’s Paywall reports that they were told sources within WWE that “Randy Orton’s theme song very could have had a change or an adjustment of late.” Ahead of the December 8th WWE Smackdown “that a change was considered” to Randy Orton’s theme from the familiar “Voices” song we’ve known for long.

We’re told that Orton and management talked over the potential change before the show, and it was ultimately shot down. Those that Brennan spoke with say that it was not the new Rev Theory version, and it had “no music off the top and limited lyrics.”

It was also reported that WWE saw it as “important that they had Orton’s original theme for at least Orton’s first few appearances back for the purposes of familiarity.”

Ringside News will continue covering this story, and so many more, so keep checking back. We will have to see if Randy Orton’s theme song changes, because it may spark a few upset fans about the change.
