The pro wrestling world is full of a variety of stories. You never know what will pop up next, and sadly, we have a troubling story involving solicitation of a minor, and one indie wrestler who was involved.

The Laredo Morning Times reported that Texas-based independent wrestler ASF, real name Luis Antonio Garcia, who is 26, was arrested on December 6th for online solicitation of a minor under 14, a second-degree felony, and displaying harmful material to a minor.

The arrest report notes that Garcia allegedly sent explicit photos via Facebook several years ago to a fan, then 11, who had messaged him to wish him good luck on a match. Garcia also allegedly sent photos via Snapchat.

According to the report, Garcia was brought in by authorities on 12/6 for questioning and initially claimed that the girl’s boyfriend had made up the accusations about him. When asked whether he had sent the girl a photo of his genitalia, he reportedly stated, ‘My answer is I’m not sure. I have nothing to tell you. It was a stupid mistake.'”

Garcia, as ASF, last wrestled in September. He had made appearances for GCW, but the promotion and others stopped using him in January 2023, around the same period allegations of improper behavior by Laredo began spreading within professional wrestling circles. Of late, he had been wrestling only for Laredo independent promotion Lucha Maniaks.

Garcia is currently out on bond. We will have more updates on this story as they are made known here at Ringside News.
