TNA sensation Savannah Evans has faced a recent setback, as she underwent knee surgery.

According to PWInsider, the reason behind this surgical intervention was the presence of troublesome bone spurs in her knee, which required prompt medical attention. The procedure was carried out earlier this month.

Although Evans’ last official match in the Impact Wrestling ring was back in September, she continued to make appearances on the independent circuit following her departure from the company. Her most recent in-ring action was in November.

The good news for fans of Savannah Evans is that the expectation is she will have ample time to recover and complete her rehabilitation before making her return to the squared circle. The target date for her comeback is set to coincide with the TNA Hard to Kill Pay-Per-View event, scheduled for the coming month in Las Vegas.
