John Cena made a notable appearance at the premiere of “Iron Claw” and commended Zac Efron for his portrayal of Kevin Von Erich in the film.

At the premiere event, John Cena was among several WWE stars in attendance, and he was photographed alongside MJF. MJF also shared a snapshot with Baron Corbin, and it was revealed that CJ Perry and Liv Morgan were also present.

Taking to Twitter, John Cena expressed his admiration for Zac Efron’s performance, accompanied by a photo of himself, Zac Efron, and the real-life Kevin Von Erich:

“Incredibly proud of @ZacEfron for an outstanding performance in @A24 ’s #TheIronClaw. Thank you for doing the work to help introduce a new audience to one of our industry’s most important families. See it in theaters Dec. 22nd!!!”

Interestingly, John Cena and Zac Efron are set to share the screen in the upcoming fantasy comedy movie “Ricky Stanicky,” and Cena’s appearance in a skirt for the role had made headlines earlier this year.

Previously, Kevin Von Erich had shared his thoughts on Zac Efron’s portrayal in “Iron Claw,” recounting his conversation with the director, Sean Durkin. The film’s wrestling coordinator, Chavo Guerrero, also lauded Zac Efron’s dedication to the role.

With the premiere generating excitement and Cena’s endorsement, “Iron Claw” promises to introduce a wider audience to the legacy of one of wrestling’s most prominent families when it arrives in theaters on December 22, 2023.
