Gunther Lights Up the Ring in Dark Match After 12/8 WWE SmackDown

Gunther has established himself as one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time ever since he debuted in the company back in January 2019. He is no stranger to breaking records and now fans simply wonder if there is anyone who can step up to him. In the meantime, Gunther also competed in a dark match after SmackDown this week.

The December 8th Tribute To The Troops special-themed episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown was a night full of memorable moments and solid matches from top to bottom.

However, the action didn’t stop after the cameras stopped rolling. The first match fans got to witness featured Intercontinental Champion Gunther squaring off against longtime rival Chad Gable in yet another solid encounter. The match ended in a disqualification as Gable picked up the win.

Chad Gable hasn’t necessarily given up on the Intercontinental Championship just yet, even if he hasn’t gone after Gunther in a while. We will have to wait and see if Gable will be the one to dethrone Gunther when the time comes.
