ROH Women’s Champion Athena has unfortunately suffered a legitimate injury, a broken nose, as confirmed by PWInsider.com. Although Athena initially shared this news through a tweet, she later deleted the tweet.

It is believed that the injury occurred during a recent taping for Collision/Ring of Honor in Montreal, which is set to air on an upcoming episode of ROH on WatchROH.com. The injury is said to have happened during a brawl with Billie Starkz, possibly when Athena was tossed into a guardrail or a ring post.

Despite the broken nose, Athena has expressed her determination to continue working and is committed to her appearance at the Ring of Honor Final Battle PPV next week.

Wrestling fans can undoubtedly admire her resilience and dedication to her craft, even in the face of adversity. We wish Athena a swift recovery and look forward to seeing her in action at Final Battle.
