John Cena’s time in Hollywood has been a successful one, as he has acted in quite a few different films over the years. That said, not every film of his has seen the light of day. Warner Bros recently pulled the plug on his ‘Coyote vs. Acme’ film but now the film sparked a huge bidding frenzy.

John Cena played a role in ‘Coyote vs. Acme,’ a live-action hybrid film that featured the iconic Looney Tunes character, Wile E. Coyote. It was said that production for the film had finished last year.

However, Warner Bros. decided to pull the completed film from its release schedule and cited it as $30 million tax write-off. Naturally, this ended up shocking many people. It was then reported that Warner Bros. let the filmmakers of Coyote vs. Acme shop the movie to other potential distributors.

According to Deadline Hollywood, it was reported that Netflix and Paramount have made formal bids for the film. It was added that Warner Bros. Discovery wants “$70 million and then some” which would cover the initial tax write-off for Warner Bros.
