AEW has a lot of booking decisions to make, and FTR are still wildly popular members of the roster, even if they are no longer covered in gold. Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are out to make a statement and prove that they are worthy of being considered the best tag team on the planet. It appears that Tony Khan has another match lined up to help them prove just that.

After the House of Black won their match during the December 2nd episode of AEW Collision, FTR’s music played, and they came out to the ring. Black stated he assumed they were there to join the House of Black, emphasizing that the only people who had been there for FTR were the members of his own group. He declared that he had never told a lie.

Dax Harwood went to pick up the microphone, but Buddy Matthews kicked him, initiating a brawl between Cash Wheeler and Buddy. Then, Malakai Black intervened by pulling Cash off Buddy and delivering his signature move, the Black Mass, to Cash. Black emphasized that no one was coming for them, and then proceeded to hit Dax with the Black Mass as well.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that FTR has the House of Black to deal with now in AEW. It’s unclear whether they will get that match on the Worlds End pay-per-view on December 30th, but that match is in the pipeline.

Well, they’re gonna have a match soon, I don’t know the day or the show. It may be on the pay-per-view.”

We will have to see what the future holds for FTR. They inked new deals with AEW, and they will be with the company until 2027. Naturally, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have a lot of ground to cover. Thankfully, they have time to accomplish everything they want to in Tony Khan’s company.

FTR are still friends with CM Punk, but it apparently isn’t affecting their booking in AEW. For more on this story, and many more, please keep checking back with us here at Ringside News for all the headlines you need!
