AEW has lot of things going on, and sometimes plans need to change. The Young Bucks are top stars in the company, so their matches need to matter, but one change couldn’t be helped.

According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, The Young Bucks were originally scheduled to face off against Komander and Vikingo during the November 15th episode of AEW Dynamite. That match didn’t go down as planned.

Instead, AEW swapped out Vikingo for Penta. It was not noted why Tony Khan made that change.

The Young Bucks still had quite a match with Penta and Komander. Even if Tony Khan originally had a different match in mind, they still made things work. The two teams battled on Wednesday night, with the Jackson Brothers coming out on top.
