Chris Jericho Expresses Regret Over Not Getting One More Match with CM Punk Following WWE Return

Chris Jericho is hailed as one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time and there are many good reasons for that. Jericho is also outspoken and a lot of times, people don’t necessarily agree with what he has to say. That said, no one can argue that he is not loyal to AEW. Jericho also lamented over not having one more match with CM Punk, now that the latter is in WWE.

CM Punk was fired from AEW back in September following his altercation with Jack Perry at AEW All In. This eventually led to CM Punk’s return at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event last week, making it clear he is now a WWE Superstar once again.

A fan took to Twitter and made it clear that he is sad Chris Jericho and CM Punk never had a match in AEW. Le Champion saw the fan’s tweet and responded to it, making it clear that he wished he had one more match with Punk as well.

In case you didn’t know, Chris Jericho allegedly told CM Punk he was cancer to the AEW locker room last year. Regardless, Punk is now more than happy being back in WWE and that’s all that matters to him right now.
