Tony Khan tries his best to present the best five hours of pro wrestling content that he can every week. That being said, it appears that some people may not be happy right now.

AEW World Champion MJF may have stirred tensions backstage with some of his fellow roster members. The situation began with a straightforward tweet in response to MJF’s post about enduring pain but still showing up for AEW Dynamite.

In his pre-AEW Dynamite tweet, we previously covered that MJF stated that he was going into the November 28th episode of Dynamite hurt. He said that there is still a show, so he’s not going to miss it.

“I didn’t sleep a wink. In a ton of pain and can’t find comfort.

“But it’s Wednesday. We have a show to put on. I hear it all. I read it all. I see it all.

“I’m wide awake in more ways than one.

“Let’s restore the feeling. #AEWDynamite”

An account named UnsafeChairshot quoted MJF’s post with its message: “You have almost single-handedly destroyed the feeling lol.” This may have been ignored by many fans, but the engagement that this post received raised a lot of questions.

The tweet by UnsafeChairshot received likes from Britt Baker, Sammy Guevara, and Jack Perry. During Dynamite, Britt Baker also tweeted about not having any live promo time in 2023, whereas MJF, for instance, has had numerous opportunities.

Sammy Guevara, who had been sidelined since WrestleDream in early October due to a concussion, is reportedly cleared to return. His wife, Tay Melo, recently gave birth to their daughter. The Spanish God still found the time to like that tweet in response to MJF.

Jack Perry has been absent from AEW television since his “indefinite suspension” following the CM Punk-related incident at AEW All In on August 27, 2023. His last tweet dates back to that same day, although he has been active in liking posts since. He was obviously active enough to like that tweet about MJF.

It remains to be seen whether any of these reactions will play a role in the ongoing Devil storyline on AEW television or if they are genuine expressions, especially in light of past backstage issues within AEW. Only time will tell what goes down in the future, but there may be some issues in Tony Khan’s locker room right now that he needs to address.
