Tonight promises another exciting night of action as the Continental Classic Tournament continues. Christian Cage will respond to Adam Copeland’s challenge for a TNT Championship match.

Bryan Danielson’s music plays and he comes out to join the commentary team.

Continental Classic Gold League: Jon Moxley vs. Jay Lethal

Jon Moxley’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring. Jay Lethal’s theme song plays and he walks to the ring.

The match begins and Moxley takes down Lethal. Lethal comes back and locks in the figure four leg lock. Both men roll out of the ring. Lethal drives Moxley into the apron. He gets back in the ring and hits a suicide dive. He goes for it again but Moxley evades it and hits a suicide dive.

Moxley sends Lethal into the ring and attacks him in the corner. Lethal comes back with a knee breaker and a dragon screw. Lethal attacks Moxley in the corner. Lethal with a knee breaker and he follows it with a back drop suplex. Lethal hits an elbow drop off the top rope. Cover! 1……2…..kick out.

*Commercial break*

Moxley fights back with a cutter. Lethal sets Moxley on the top rope and hits a dragon screw. Both men exchange strikes. Moxley with a King Kong lariat. He goes for Death Rider but Lethal counters into the Lethal combination. Cover! 1……2……kick out. Moxley sends him into the turnbuckle.

Lethal with a figure four leg lock on Moxley. Moxley gets to the ropes. Lethal goes for Lethal injection but Moxley collapses. Lethal goes to pick him up but he hits the paradigm shift. He then hits the King Kong lariat and follows it with a piledriver. Cover! 1…..2….kick out. Moxley transitions into the rear naked choke and Lethal taps out.

Winner: Jon Moxley

A video package plays of Eddie Kingston saying he knew this tournament was going to be tough. He says he got Bryan next and he is behind in the tournament. He says he has to heal up and he will be ready for Bryan.

*Commercial break*

Tony Schiavone is backstage and he says the Greensborough Coliseum is the best place to have Sting’s last match. Sting and Ric Flair join him. Sting says he had his first World Title match against Flair in that same arena. He says that was a make-or-break night for him. He thanks Ric for putting him on the map that night and it is a fitting place to end his career.

Ric Flair says words cannot describe what is about to happen at the Greensborough Coliseum. He says Sting made himself. He says he is 74 years old and he standing next to Sting. He says he is honored to be there at Sting’s side for his final match.

Continental Classic Gold League: Rush vs. Mark Briscoe

Mark Briscoe’s music plays and he comes down to the ring. Rush’s music plays and he walks to the ring.

The match begins and both men exchange strikes. Rush attacks Briscoe in the corner but Briscoe comes back with a dropkick in the corner. Rush comes back and knocks down Briscoe. Rush is knocked out of the ring. He then hits a dropkick on Rush.

Both men exchange strikes. Rush sends Briscoe into the barricade. Briscoe slams Rush on the barricade. Briscoe hits an elbow drop off the apron. Both men exchange strikes in the ring. Rush with a German suplex on Briscoe but he comes back with a lariat.

*Commercial break*

Both men exchange strikes. Briscoe with an exploder suplex. Briscoe hits a spear. Cover! 1…..2……kick out. He then hits a neckbreaker. Briscoe with an enzuigiri on Rush. Both men exchange strikes on the apron. Rush throws Briscoe off the apron. Rush sets Briscoe on the top rope. Briscoe knocks him off and hits the Froggie Bow. Cover! 1….2….kick out.

Rush throws Mark into the corner. Rush with a forearm strike. He then hits the Bull’s Horns for the win.

Winner: Rush

RJ City interviews Toni Storm who says they partied well into the evening after her championship celebration and she is feeling tired. She is not worried about her upcoming title defense.

MJF’s music plays and he walks to the ring. He says he will face Samoa Joe at World’s End. He says he doesn’t like Joe as a person but he respects him and what he’s done for the industry.

He narrates an incident of when he got a poster in his mail for TNA where he first saw Joe. He says he didn’t care that Joe looked unconventional. He says later on in his career, he was given the chance to be a world champion in WWE. He says he proved you don’t have to be a bodybuilder to be a top guy in this business and it paved the road for him to be here today. He then thanks Joe.

MJF says he is not too shabby himself. He says he paved a road himself and has built this place brick by brick. He says he did that by defeating some of the biggest names in this business but he says he was lucky to survive Joe. He says December 30th is about his legacy. He then promises to everyone that he is going to show the world that it is about the size of the fight in the dog. He says Joe will have to put him down if he wants to win at World’s End.

The lights go out and a group of men attack him. Samoa Joe’s music plays and he comes out to help MJF. Words appear on the titantron asking if MJF is a hero. MJF says he is so sick of The Devil. He says he is going to take out all of his men. He then says they can have a tag match.

*Commercial break*

Wardlow vs. AR Fox

Wardlow’s music plays and he walks down to the ring.

Fox attacks him and dives onto him. He does it again. Fox goes for a moonsault but Wardlow catches him and slams him onto the apron. The match officially begins.

Wardlow throws Fox across the ring. Fox rolls out of the ring. Wardlow attacks him and sends him into the ring. Fox hits a 450 splash. Cover! 1….kick out. Wardlow slams him and hits a clothesline. He slams him again. Wardlow powerbombs him. Wardlow climbs the top rope and hits a senton on Fox. Wardlow powerbombs Fox and the referee stops the match.

Winner: Wardlow

Top Flight & Action Andretti vs. Brother Zay & The Hardys

The Hardys’ music plays and they come out to the ring. Top Flight’s theme song plays and they walk to the ring.

The match starts with Andretti and Matt in the ring. Action with a dropkick on Matt. Matt with a hip toss. He tags out and Jeff attacks Action. Cover! 1….2….kick out. Action trips Jeff and goes for a moonsault and misses. Both men tag out. Zey with a shoulder block. Darius with a dropkick on Zay. Dante tags in and attacks Zay. He tags out and Darius attacks Zay in the corner.

*Commercial break*

Jeff with a leg drop on Andretti. He dropkicks him. Matt tags in and attacks Action in the corner. Matt with the side effect. Cover! 1….2…..kick out. Dante tags in and attacks Zay. Dante with a springboard splash. Cover! 1….2….kick out. Zay with a clothesline to Dante. Jeff knocks Andretti off the apron. Zay takes out Darius. Jeff attacks Dante in the corner. Zay with a springboard dropkick. Cover! 1….2…..kick out. Darius with a German suplex and Dante slams Zay for the win.

Winner: Top Flight & Action Andretti

Renee interviews Top Flight and Action Andretti. Penta comes in and they bump fists and he challenges them to a match.

TBS Championship House Rules Match: Julia Hart (c) vs. Emi Sakura

Julia Hart’s theme song plays and she walks to the ring. Emi Sakura’s music hits and she comes down to the ring.

The match starts and Julia attacks her in the corner. She hits a snapmare and a kick to the back. Julia slams Emi to the mat. She rolls out of the ring. Emi sends Julia into the steel steps. She hits a running crossbody.

*Commercial break*

Emi hits a backbreaker. Julia locks in the sleeper hold. Sakura escapes and locks in the surfboard. Emi climbs the top rope and goes for a moonsault and misses. Julia locks in the Hartless lock. Emi taps out but she can’t win via submission. Hart with a clothesline from behind. Julia hits a moonsault for the win.

Winner: Julia Hart (c)

RJ City interviews Mariah May who says she is dying to show AEW what she can do. She then walks into Tony Khan’s office.

Christian Cage’s music plays and he walks to the ring. He gets on the mic and invites Adam Copeland to come down to the ring. He says he wants to speak to him about some of the things he said last week and he asks him to come down to the ring.

Adam Copeland’s theme song plays and he comes down to the ring. Cage says they don’t need security tonight and he aks the security detail to vacate the ring. He then says they won’t make it to Montreal because he’s sorry. He says he knows that everybody is thinking he is only sorry because he is all by himself.

Cage says that’s not the reason he’s sorry. He says he was pissed after Copeland attacked Killswitch that he went on a drive and it turned into a road trip of self-reflection. He says he was reminded of their early days on the road. He says they went on to become the greatest tag team of all time.

Cage says he is his brother. He says his father is still his biggest fan. He says he loves him and they are family. He says Copeland’s mom’s passing was the hardest time of his life but she wished to see them teaming together again one more time. He says they can go on this journey again one more time. Cage goes to attack Copeland but he low blows him. Copeland asks him to shine the belt nicely because it’s going home with him.

Continental Classic Gold League: Jay White vs. Swerve Strickland

Jay White’s music plays and he walks to the ring. Swerve Strickland’s theme song plays and he walks to the ring.

The match starts and Jay attacks Swerve in the corner. He sends him out of the ring and sends him into the barricade. Jay sends him into the barricade again. Jay sends him into the ring and stomps him.

Jay knocks him out of the ring. Swerve sends him into the steel steps and sends him into the ring. Jay plants Swerve with a DDT while he was entering the ring.

*Commercial break*

Jay plants Swerve with a German suplex. He suplexes him into the turnbuckle. Swerve comes back with a back suplex. Swerve hits a flatliner and follows it with a suplex. Cover! 1…..2…..kick out. Jay fights back with a German suplex but Swerve recovers and hits a lariat. Both men exchange strikes. Jay targets the knee and hits the urinagi.

Jay goes to work on Swerve. He locks in the armbar. Swerve gets out of it and snaps the arm. Jay goes for a low blow but Swerve catches him and hits the backbreaker. He then hits the house call. Swerve climbs the top rope and hits the Swerve stomp. Cover! 1….2….kick out. Jay White hits the Bladerunner out of nowhere but Swerve rolls out of the ring. Jay sends Swerve into the ring.

Both men exchange strikes. Jay with the sleeper suplex. He goes for the Bladerunner but Swerve rolls him up for the win.

Winner: Swerve Strickland
