UPDATE: WWE announced Kevin Ownen’s return for the November 24, 2023 episode of SmackDown shortly after we published this scoop.

Kevin Owens finds it challenging to be around Grayson Waller and Austin Theory without knocking them both out with one punch. That brought Owens to his current situation, as he is suspended from WWE television. Now, we have a little insight on how long he will be out of action.

Two weeks ago on SmackDown, Kevin Owens took over commentary duties in place of Corey Graves, who was on paternity leave. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis permitted Owens to be a commentator with the condition that he refrained from engaging in any physical confrontations. However, this agreement did not hold, as Waller and Theory deliberately provoked Owens, prompting him to attack both of them. Aldis took notice of these events and imposed suspension on The Prizefighter.

A tenured member of the creative team has told Ringside News that, “Kevin Owens’ suspension will be very short.” He could return at any moment, but he also isn’t booked for Survivor Series. He could still appear as soon as tonight’s show.

Kevin Owens could return and get involved with Grayson Waller and Austin Theory once again. Only time will tell what they book for him next, but the Prizefighter will not be gone for very long.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
