WWE fans are gearing up for Survivor Series, and a few of them are expecting to see CM Punk at the show, despite the fact that he hasn’t been announced or reported to be at the show. Punk is aware of that, and he also knows that his theme song just got a bit of a reboot in popularity.

CM Punk responded to the remaster of ‘Cult of Personality,’ coinciding with rumors of a WWE return at Survivor Series. That also sparked even more speculation from hopeful fans that Punk will hear that music at Survivor Series.

As Survivor Series in Chicago approaches, there is growing speculation about the potential return of CM Punk to WWE at the event. CM Punk was released from AEW with cause on September 2nd after an investigation into a backstage incident at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium. He reportedly “sucker punched” Jack Perry.

With rumors swirling about CM Punk’s return, Living Colour released a remastered version of Punk’s theme song, ‘Cult of Personality,’ just 24 hours before the event. Naturally, the song’s release so close to the show has fueled speculation that Punk might use it at the event, and Punk himself has now acknowledged the re-release on his Instagram story, intensifying fan speculation.

Ringside News was able to exclusively reported that a tenured member of the team told us, “There is no interest in CM Punk. The damage he did to AEW was as bad as what Vince Russo did to WCW.“ Still, fans are seeing signs of CM Punk’s return to the company.

We will keep our eye on CM Punk, and the rest of the pro wrestling world, here at Ringside News. You never know what will break next, but we will be here with all the details.
