Raquel Rodriguez Relocating Back to ‘Her Roots’ After 7 Years in Florida

Raquel Rodriguez has been a mainstay of the WWE Women’s division for a long time now, as fans have certainly warmed up to her now. She has been in Florida for seven years but now Rodriguez has announced that she is going back to her roots.

Raquel Rodriguez joined Vince McMahon’s company back in 2016. She won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Title two times and the NXT Women’s Championship before making her main roster debut last year.

She has seen some success on the main roster, but none of them are from a singles run. On the occasion of Thanksgiving, Rodriguez took to her Instagram and wrote an emotional post, where she stated that after staying in Florida for seven years, Rodriguez will now be going back to her roots with her family.

She also thanked everyone for the memories in Florida for the last seven years and promised to visit Florida in the future. It is to be noted that her hometown is in La Feria, Texas.

”7 years ago my family squeezed into my tacoma and drove me to Orlando FL to pursue my ambitions. Today they’ve come back to Florida to take me Home ❤️ I’m grateful to all the lessons, experiences and people I call family in Florida, especially @olesia23 who was there for me at my lowest. I will always have a special place in my heart for Florida but I’m ready to get back to my roots. To everyone I’ve met and loved in Florida I still love yall and I’ll be back to visit don’t worry 😘 Today I’m most grateful for my life, my blessings and especially the people I call mi gente! Raquel Rodriguez has been feuding with Nia Jax for the past few weeks, but Jax ended up defeating her on RAW recently. Regardless, only time will tell what the future holds for her.
