Orange Cassidy on Wrestling Jon Moxley: ‘It’s Not Fun, It Hurts’

Orange Cassidy has worked hard to establish himself as one of the most beloved stars in all of AEW. His cool character has helped him gain fanfare in AEW. He has developed a longstanding rivalry with Jon Moxley and has now admitted it’s never fun to wrestle Moxley.

The man of few words has become one of the biggest stars in the company since joining AEW back in 2019. He dropped the International Title to Jon Moxley at AEW All Out but eventually regained it from Rey Fenix last month.

While speaking to Phil Strum on Under The Ring, Orange Cassidy talked about his experience wrestling The Purveyor of Violence. Cassidy noted that it’s never fun to wrestle Moxley.

“It’s not fun to wrestle Jon Moxley. When you look at that giant monster, it hurts every single time. So I’m not really looking forward to it, the feeling I’m going to have after the match, but I have a lot to prove to myself in this match.”

“The first time that Jon Moxley and I wrestled, he did beat me, and it didn’t sit right with me for a very, very long time. So now I have the opportunity to get my — I don’t know, it’s just weird, there’s like a missing feeling I have holding the championship. I don’t think I’m going to be able to feel complete until I beat Jon Moxley.”

Orange Cassidy is set to defend his International Championship against Jon Moxley at the Full Gear pay-per-view on November 18th. We will have to wait and see if Moxley will be able to defeat Cassidy in the end.
