WWE fired a lot of Superstars during the pandemic, including Nia Jax. Triple H then decided to undo a number of those releases when he assumed power in the company. That included bringing Nia Jax back, and it appears she is doing better during this run.

Nia Jax said some very controversial things about vaccines, and this came during the pandemic. Naturally, she got some heat for this, and she couldn’t travel internationally due to not being vaccinated.

In case you need a refresher, Nia Jax logged onto Instagram, and she posed a meme on her story that has some information that might need to be fact-checked. She also included a note at the bottom which said: “God made my immune system and I trust him the most.” The meme she posted also included some statistics she found.

The COVID vaccine is 90% effective after 8 months of development, when the flu vaccine is 40% effective after 70 years of development. I’ll go with my immune system, as it’s 99.9% effective.”

During Fightful’s Backstage Report podcast, Sean Sapp was asked if those previous comments about vaccines have caused any issues for Nia Jax this time around. Sapp noted that he did receive some “eye rolls” from talent when he first mentioned those comments, but, at least one Superstar has come out to praise Nia Jax at this point.

“As far as that one did get a couple eye rolls from talent I spoke to, for sure. That being said, one of those people who shot me those eye rolls have said, ‘you know what? Her work’s been pretty good since she’s been back, nobody’s gotten hurt, looks like she’s worked to get into better shape, so that’s about the extent of information I have on that one.”

Nia Jax hasn’t been given a ton to do in WWE during this run. She is getting things started and gaining steam. She will always be the Irresistible Force, but only time will tell if she reaches championship status once again.
