Ronda Rousey’s UFC Paychecks Unveiled In New Findings

Ronda Rousey had a great run in UFC, and she brought a ton of eyes to the product. Now, years later, we know how much she was pulling into her bank account.

We previously noted how much Brock Lesnar made in the UFC. The Bloody Elbow has looked through records and published their findings in a comprehensive report, and that includes Ronda Rousey’s paychecks.

Ronda Rousey’s career in the UFC spanned from 2011 to 2016, during which all eight of her fight payouts were disclosed. Her journey in the UFC began with a reported earnings of $574,720 for her UFC Bantamweight Championship debut against Liz Carmouche. This marked the beginning of her venture into the world of mixed martial arts, and her financial rewards saw a significant increase.

As her career progressed, Rousey’s payouts reflected her ascent in the sport. Her first title defense against Miesha Tate brought her an impressive $1,817,907. For her following six bouts, her earnings continued to rise, including matchups against fighters like Sara McMann, Alexis Davis, Cat Zingano, Bethe Correia, Holly Holm, and Amanda Nunes. The amounts for these fights ranged from $870,969 to $4,879,766, signifying her status as one of the sport’s top earners.

Interestingly, it’s notable that Rousey’s final two fights, which brought her the highest payouts of her UFC career, were also the only losses she experienced. Following these defeats, she made the transition to WWE, embarking on a new chapter in her professional journey.

Ronda Rousey’s run with WWE was an impressive one. Then she took multi-year break for an “impregnation vacation.” She returned to have another run with WWE, but she just wrapped her her time at SummerSlam with a loss to Shayna Baszler.

Ronda Rousey made a ton of money already, so she doesn’t need to do things for that reason. She can now pick up indie wrestling dates as she pleases, and have fun in the process while she works with her friends.
