Teddy Hart had one of the biggest falls from grace in pro wrestling history. The saddest part may have been that he fell before reaching his true potential. The Hart Dynasty representative is now in jail, but there could be a light at the end of the tunnel for him.

Teddy Hart is scheduled for a court hearing on December 14th in Titusville, Florida related to his July 15th arrest on charges of possession of MDMA and possession of a controlled substance without prescription, both are third-degree felonies in Florida.

PW Insider reports that the court date is designated as a mandatory appearance for “Early Resolution,” a division in Florida that offers plea deals to those arrested to avoid felony trials. This hearing may lead to a resolution of the situation.

Teddy Hart’s defense initially requested an October date at a September hearing, but on October 19th, they asked for a hearing on December 14th, leading to the delay at Hart’s request.

In addition to his drug arrests, Teddy Hart was cited for failing to stop at a steady red light, which prompted the initial traffic stop. On September 19th, Hart paid a $283 traffic fine for failing to stop at a steady red light, resolving that issue.

Teddy Hart had just wrestled his first match in three years in Florida, and this arrest took place several hours after that event. He has not wrestled since his arrest.

Teddy Hart was featured in the Peacock reality series Dangerous Breed, which included allegations of toxic behavior towards former girlfriends and his ex-wife. One woman featured in the show, Samantha Fiddler, traveled internationally with Hart before he allegedly abandoned her in Florida, taking her passport with him. Fiddler subsequently disappeared and has not made any public statements since that occurrence.
