WWE brought a big episode of SmackDown to fans this week. They promoted next week’s episode on FS1 heavily, and Crown Jewel also got quite a focus, but the night came to quite a climax in San Antonio.

Ringside News provided comprehensive coverage of the October 20th episode of WWE SmackDown. The show kicked off with LA Knight, and they brought a lot of attention toward their November 4th Crown Jewel event. The main event was also quite newsworthy.

IYO Sky defended the WWE Women’s Title against Charlotte Flair in the main event of SmackDown. Damage CTL was at ringside, so Bayley and Dakota Kai’s presence really presented an uphill battle for The Queen.

IYO Sky won the match, and she did so by cheating. Flair hit a spear during the closing moments, but Sky had her title and caused Charlotte to ram her head into the gold instead.

Then, after the match, Damage CTRL started to beat Charlotte Flair down until Bianca Belair’s music hit, and she made her return. Belair ran off the heels and she helped Charlotte Flair up in the end.

Ringside News exclusively reported that WWE was planning Bianca Belair’s return. She was also expected for Crown Jewel. Now the EST of WWE is back in time for all of that, and she’s still a babyface.
