Cary Silkin is widely recognized for his involvement in the professional wrestling industry, particularly Ring of Honor from 2004 to 2011. Silkin has contributed significantly to the pro wrestling business, but now we have a bit of bad news about the pro wrestling legend.

Cary Silkin is currently a Producer and Ambassador, working for ROH after Tony Khan bought the company. Silkin was also inducted in the ROH Hall of Fame in 2022 as part of the Legacy wing.

PW Insider noted that Cary Silkin, who owned Ring of Honor and worked as an ambassador for the company for years, was hospitalized last week. It was not noted in the report that Silkin’s issue is, but he has a lot of people pulling for him.

We’d like to send Silkin, who spent a lot of time and money to bring Ring of Honor to the masses and helped a LOT of talents on their path to becoming international stars, all of our best wishes.

It was also noted that Cary Silkin was “truly one of the great men who have been a positive force in professional wrestling over the last several decades.” ROH saw a lot of historic moments while he ran the company, and many in the pro wrestling news community were privileged to have spoken with him during that time.

We’re hoping that Cary Silkin will be able to get back to great health in no time. He means a lot to the pro wrestling fans who watched his company’s product for years, and he was also very influential to a lot of people along the way.

Keep checking back with Ringside News for more on this story, and so many more, in the pro wrestling world. Please leave your comments below to let us know your favorite memory from ROH during the time Cary Silkin ran the company.
