WWE brought the fallout from Fastlane this week for SmackDown, and they also aired the brand’s season premiere. Now we know how many viewers tuned in to see what happened.

According to Alfred Konuwa, the October 13th episode of SmackDown drew 2.325 million viewers for their season premiere episode. They also brought in 756k in the 18 to 49 demographic, which made them the #1 show on broadcast television in that demo.
This week’s episode of SmackDown was the show’s season premiere, and the final one they will have on FOX before the new USA Network contract picks up in 2024. They included a lot of big moments, including Roman Reigns’ return to the company’s television show for the first time in two months.
The main event match saw LA Knight take on Solo Sikoa in singles action, with the opening segment featuring LA Knight standing up to Roman Reigns. In the end, Roman Reigns beat LA Knight down to cement the fact that they are in a feud.
The October 6th episode of WWE SmackDown brought a fast-national number of 2.192 million viewers, with 778k of those in the treasured 18 to 49 demographic. This was a nice boost on their way to Fastlane.
The company already announced a noteworthy match and segment for next week’s show as well. It remains to be seen how next week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown will be booked as it will be the go-home edition of the show before the WWE Fastlane Premium Live Event.
