WWE SmackDown started off this week with John Cena, and then Roman Reigns interrupted him. This led to a back-and-forth before John Cena made a very shocking move. This was followed by a new face stepping up to face the Head of the Table.

John Cena said that he wasn’t around to challenge Roman Reigns for his title, because he hasn’t “earned it.” Then he said he knows someone who has earned it. This is when LA Knight came out to a thunderous ovation.
LA Knight proceeded to cut a promo on Roman Reigns, and the crowd was eating out of the palm of his hand. They chanted for him at every opportunity, with “YEAH” and “LA KNIGHT” right on cue.
After the main event match, when LA Knight beat Solo Sikoa, Roman Reigns made a big statement. He took LA Knight out, leaving the former Eli Drake in the middle of the ring as the Tribal Chief stood over him to close out the show this week.
A match was not booked between LA Knight and Roman Reigns for Crown Jewel on November 4th. They still have some time to book that match, but it appears that is the way that they are going with things.
