Jey Uso’s WWE Fastlane Ring Gear Took Inspiration From Nipsey Hussle

Jey Uso made his return during WWE Payback after he ‘quit Smackdown’, much to the delight of fans. He then made his way to Monday Night RAW and has since been booked very strongly. Uso would also win the Undisputed Tag Team Titles with Cody Rhodes at Fastlane last week and by the looks of it, his Fastlane gear was inspired by a deceased rapper.

As seen during the Fastlane Premium Live Event, Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes challenged The Judgment Day for the Undisputed Tag Team Titles. They would thwart The Judgment Day and ultimately become the new champions.

WWE costume maker Mikaze took to his Instagram and revealed that Jey Uso’s ring gear for Fastlane took inspiration from late rapper Nipsey Hussle, as the blue was the same color as Hussle’s suit in the final music video before his shocking death back in 2019.

It is certainly great to see Jey Uso pay tribute to Nipsey Hussle, who was taken from us far too early. Regardless, Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes have a lot of challenges ahead as the new tag team champions, so we’ll have to see how they will be booked in the coming weeks.
