Shawn Michaels Says NXT Is Working With Gable Steveson’s Outside Commitments

WWE has a lot of big plans for Gable Steveson, as he has been referred to as a future Kurt Angle-like star. His NXT in-ring debut was followed by a few NXT house show appearances, and it appears that there is a lot more to come for him.

During the press conference for NXT No Mercy, Shawn Michaels was asked about Gable Steveson, and what his future holds for the brand. HBK didn’t reveal a lot about plans, but there are apparently things in the works.

Shawn Michaels said that Gable Steveson has “a number of outside commitments.” He doesn’t want to get in the way of those other goals, but they are certainly working with their schedule to “best organize with him as we can.”

It was said that “Gable Steveson is fantastic, but he’s a very busy young man.” At this point, it appears that there are several plans for Steveson in the company. It is all about making things work with his schedule.

There was time when Gable Steveson future in WWE seemed unclear, but that has apparently changed. Let’s just wait to see what’s next for the former Olympian in WWE.
