Starz has decided to cancel the popular pro wrestling-themed series ‘Heels’ after two seasons, as reported by Variety. The network did not provide a specific reason for the show’s cancellation.

The second season of ‘Heels’ began airing on July 28, 2023, and concluded on September 15, 2023. The series originally debuted in 2021 with its first season, consisting of eight episodes. The second season also featured eight episodes.

‘Heels’ boasted a star-studded cast, including Stephen Amell, Kelli Berglund, Alison Luff, Alexander Ludwig, Mary McCormack, Chris Bauer, CM Punk, AJ Mendez, and Mike O’Malley. Several professional wrestlers made cameo appearances throughout the show’s run.

In addition to ‘Heels’, Starz has also canceled other series like ‘Run the World’, ‘Blindspotting’, and ‘The Venery of Samantha Bird’.

The decision to discontinue ‘Heels’ comes as a disappointment to fans of the series, who had eagerly followed its wrestling-themed drama and storytelling.
