Dominik Mysterio Stakes His Claim as the Only Mysterio That Truly Matters

Dominik Mysterio wasn’t really liked when he was a plain babyface when he teamed up with his father Rey Mysterio. Things changed for Domink Mysterio after he turned heel last year and things have truly become better for him. Now it appears Dominik Mysterio claimed he’s the only Mysterio that matters.

The Master of the 619 has been engaged in a feud with his son Dominik Mysterio ever since Dominik Mysterio turned on him at WWE Clash At The Castle last year. Rey Mysterio would also defeat his son at WrestleMania 39 earlier this year.

Dominik Mysterio has been the NXT North American Champion for a while now and he believes he raised its prestige after becoming the champion. While speaking to In The Kliq, Dominik Mysterio claimed that he is the one Mysterio that matters.

“I don’t think there will ever be a next Rey Mysterio not because he’s my dad but because the Mysterio that matters is me. I’m the one out here putting the Mysterio name on my back and taking the NXT North American title to literally all of North America, which is Canada, Mexico, and the United States. No one’s ever done that.

So the fact that I’m main eventing all three shows in one week, literally the main event of Raw every week. There is no next Rey Mysterio. I’m the Mysterio that matters. Plain and simple.”

Rey Mysterio also spanked Dominik Mysterio during recent WWE live event. Dominik Mysterio is truly coming into his own as a WWE Superstar, but it is likely his feud with Rey Mysterio is far from over. We’ll have to wait and see when the two will square off against each other next.
