WWE released Emma in a wave of cuts on September 21. Emma had previously returned to WWE in October 2022 after working for the company from 2011 to 2017 before her initial release. Prior to her second release, Emma expressed her excitement about competing at WWE Elimination Chamber in Australia.

Emma took to social media to express gratitude to fans for their support following her release. She mentioned that while she wasn’t expecting the call, it didn’t come as a shock. Emma recalled her initial excitement about returning to WWE, but it became evident that the timing wasn’t right.

Emma also emphasized her enthusiasm for the new opportunities that have arisen and expressed gratitude for meeting her soon-to-be-husband, Riddick Moss, during her time in WWE. Emma also hinted at upcoming adventures for the future.

Thank you for all the lovely messages and comments, I see you all and your support never goes unnoticed!

While I wasn’t expecting a call yesterday, it’s also fair to say that I wasn’t shocked. When I returned to WWE I was so excited, I was ready to work my ass of and do all the things I didn’t get to do first time around. But it became apparent pretty quickly that this wasn’t my time. And that’s ok!

Would I have loved to wrestle a stadium show in my home country, you bet. But now many doorways and opportunities have opened up and that’s exciting.

I feel very fortunate today. I met my soon to be husband in WWE. I’m so grateful for that and the beautiful life we have been building.

I get to spend more time with family and friends and can really focus on the important things in my life.

You bet I’m going to be traveling as much as possible. I can’t wait to see more of the world, and take you all on more adventures with us soon – In more ways than one! Stay tuned.

The WWE main roster wasn’t the only side of the company that saw cuts. NXT saw releases as well. WWE also fired two NXT Superstars before they were even allowed to make television debut. Dabba Kato was also released from his contract, along with Dana Brooke. It is a sad time for WWE right now, because cuts are never easy.

WWE also fired over 100 employees from the company last week. The new TKO company certainly brought a lot of cuts, but that was also expected.

What’s your take on WWE releasing so many people? Sound off in the comments to let us know what you think!
