The Hardy Boyz have been part of the AEW family for a while now but have faced a lot of issues due to Jeff Hardy’s personal demons. They are now back in the fold and compete on a regular basis, but it appears AEW scrapped plans for the duo to compete at AEW All In.

AEW All In took place at Wembley Stadium and was truly the biggest show the company has done so far, making it the most significant event of the promotion.

While speaking on his The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt Hardy revealed that AEW had plans for the Hardys and Paul Wight to wrestle Jeff Jarrett, Satnam Singh, and Jay Lethal in a trios match, which would have been built to in the weeks leading to All In. However, plans were scrapped due to Jeff Hardy having trouble getting a visa because of his legal issues.

“That obviously didn’t happen, and it probably … the reason it did not happen is because Jeff had issues getting a visa and going over there because of the legal troubles he had most recently.”
