Kenny Omega is set to make an appearance on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite. However, it’s important to note that while he will be on the program, he is not expected to return to in-ring action imminently due to ongoing recovery from diverticulitis, an ailment that sidelined him for a while.

According to Fightful Select, Omega’s presence on the show serves multiple purposes, including boosting ticket sales. Despite returning to the road after his initial setback in 2022, Omega had to step back home to focus on his recovery, indicating that he still has progress to make.

“Omega will be appearing on the program, and was added to the show to increase ticket sales, among other things.”

While initial indications hinted at Omega addressing The Elite’s actions from last week’s episode, where they targeted Tony Khan, this storyline development has not been officially confirmed. As with all things in the unpredictable world of wrestling, plans could change before AEW Dynamite goes live.
