Today marks the final day of Vince McMahon’s independent majority control over WWE, a reign that has lasted for over four decades. He will soon be on the board of directors for TKO Holdings Group.

WWE stock hit an all-time high after news of WWE and UFC’s merger broke. Endeavor could bring a lot of powerful options to the table, adding to WWE’s already impressive list of contacts.

There is already talk about WWE and UFC stars mixing it up in video game form. Getting that thing moving is really only held back by this merger taking place. Gamers might have some fun matchups to look forward to in the future.

Some WWE employees are worried that this merger will cause their release from the company. Redundancies are bound to happen whenever a merger takes place. WWE and UFC were said to be running as two separate companies when the merger was first announced, and they will still have two headquarters, with UFC in Las Vegas and WWE with their brand-new facility in Stamford, Connecticut.
