WWE RAW ended in surprising fashion this week as Nia Jax made her return to the company. It appears that The Rock’s cousin is back with WWE at this point, and now we have a little bit more information.
Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that “Nia Jax is back in WWE.” It was recently noted that there was talk about her return to the company. Jax was also the first signing that WWE made after Vince McMahon returned to the company.
Nia Jax made her return to WWE on Monday Night Raw, attacking Raquel Rodriguez and Rhea Ripley. Fightful Select had noted on recent shows that we’d heard she was headed back to the company, and we’re told she’s been signed over a month, and that the hiring freeze effectively was ended this summer.
She’s the first signing that was made since Vince McMahon forced his way back into the company that returned on Main Roster TV. The Endeavor-WWE merger is happening this week, but we’re told it’s unrelated to her popping up on TV. Several within the company actually thought she’d return before this.
It is also worth noting that Nia Jax recently stated that Rhea Ripley needs to be knocked down few pegs. It appears that she is back in WWE to do it first-hand.
Nia Jax was released from WWE in 2021 and did not participate in wrestling events elsewhere, except for one scheduled indie date. Further information will be added to this article as it becomes available. Continue to visit Ringside News for updates, because there is likely to be a lot more to unpack in this story.
