Santana made a dramatic return to the wrestling scene, sharing a fiery promo on the latest edition of Rampage.

In this impassioned message, he reflected on reaching a “fork in the road” in his career and declared his intention to forge a new path independently. Santana boldly proclaimed that he would answer all the questions that the world has posed and promised to ruffle some feathers along the way.

In his promo, Santana emphasized the pivotal moments in life when individuals must make critical decisions, with some paths leading to complacency and mediocrity, while others challenge and encourage personal growth. He acknowledged that relying on others to share his passion and drive was often futile. Santana expressed that the time had come for him to address the inquiries from fans and critics alike, and he was prepared to do so without any crutches or companions. Betting on himself has been his lifelong mantra.

“There comes a time in everyone’s life where you reach a fork in the road. When you get there, there’s decisions that need to me made in order to proceed in the right direction. Some roads are easy and lead to mediocrity and comfortability. Some roads come with new challenges and force you to grow. If there’s one thing I’ve learned through this process, it’s that you can’t depend on anyone to have the same passion or drive. Or hell, to even have your back the same way that you would. With that being said, the world has been asking all these questions. Now, the world is about to get all the answers.”

“The road I’ve chosen to take is one that must be taken on my own. No crutch, no crew. All I’ve done my entire life is bet on myself. I’ll tell you this, I’m not here to be another guy in the game. I’m here to be the game. I know I’m gonna piss a lot of people off, but you ask me if I give a damn. I ain’t here to make friends. I’m here to make money. If you ain’t down, you’re gonna get run down. The nastiest is yet to come.”

Santana’s mission is clear: he is not in AEW to be just another face in the crowd. Instead, he aims to become the face of the game. While he acknowledged that his approach might upset some, he unapologetically stated that he’s not in AEW to make friends but to make money. Santana’s return came just in time for his participation in the Stadium Stampede match at AEW All In, where he teamed up with his former partner Ortiz and the Blackpool Combat Club. Despite their efforts, they were defeated by an opposing team featuring Orange Cassidy, Penta El Zero Miedo, Eddie Kingston, and The Best Friends.

Reports indicate that his relationship with Ortiz has not improved, adding another layer of intrigue to Santana’s return to the squared circle. The future looks intense and unpredictable for this determined wrestler in AEW.
