AEW has seen a ton of growth over the course of four years and it continues to make history with their upcoming events. AEW All In is certainly the company’s biggest event yet and it made history in many ways. Now it appears the event ended up doing more buys than expected.

There were 11 matches at the pay-per-view and each of them lived up to the hype in their own way. It was a major financial success as well because the event drew over 80,000 fans and topped $10 million at the gate.

According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, estimates were given for how the show did on pay-per-view, which included Bleacher Report, FITE TV, traditional cable providers, and other platforms.

What’s more impressive about the event is the fact that it aired in the United States in the early morning/afternoon, which has usually led to lower buys. A sizeable portion of AEW’s usual European buyers were also likely at the show.

Dave Meltzer further added that current estimates are 20 percent to 30 percent above the recent shows, which means the event got somewhere between 168,000 to 184,000 buys. Judging by these estimates, it is likely the number is closer to 184,000 buys.

This comes as no surprise as AEW All In pay-per-view buys are expected to be the greatest in the company’s history so far. The event will go down in history as one of the most significant events in professional wrestling and that’s all that matters now.
