AJ Styles has been considered one of the best pro wrestlers by fans and his peers. The Phenomenal One always competes at a very high level and despite his age, Styles has barely slowed down. Now it appears he really wanted to join The Wyatt Family before joining WWE.

AJ Styles has been wrestling for 25 years in a career that has seen him compete in WCW, TNA, NJPW and WWE. The Phenomenal One has won 47 titles and shows no signs of stopping just yet.

Bray Wyatt passed away at the age of 36, shocking fans and the pro wrestling world alike as they slowly come to terms with such a tragic loss. Following his death, WWE Superstars have continued to pay tribute to Styles.

WWE released a video which featured several Superstars paying tribute to Bray Wyatt and sharing stories. This included AJ Styles, who revealed that he really wanted to join The Wyatt Family while he was still in NJPW.

“All I can tell you is what I know about Windham, Bray Wyatt. Amazing character. The thing that he was able to do is unbelievable. Every direction, it was just I know that while I was in Japan, watching The Wyatt Family, I was thinking, ‘How could I be in this family? How could I find a way to be part of this crew?’ Because it was so awesome! And Windham did such a great job with Bray Wyatt. It’s unbelievable. The places that he took this character couldn’t be done by anybody else.”

As expected,  WWE has been carrying out more tributes for Wyatt. The WWE Universe will miss Bray Wyatt forever, as he touched the lives of fans, family and peers alike with his presence. No matter what, Wyatt will be remembered for the kind of human being he was.
