The pro wrestling world lost Bray Wyatt this week, and WWE paid tribute to him in a big way for SmackDown. That show ended with Wyatt’s lantern in the ring without him, and then fans tuned into AEW Rampage right after that for another tribute.

Bray Wyatt never ventured to AEW during his career. There was a report that the two sides had some sort of talks during his WWE hiatus, but that didn’t result in a contract.

The fact that Bray Wyatt never made his way to AEW did not stop Tony Khan’s company from giving him respect this week. Before AEW Rampage aired on TNT, they displayed a nice graphic for Bray Wyatt.

That in memoriam graphic for Bray Wyatt also included a photo. We will have to see if the tributes continue in AEW, but WWE certainly gave Bray Wyatt a massive amount of love this week.

Both WWE and AEW programs opened up with tributes to Bray Wyatt. Erick Rowan was also brought into SmackDown to stand next to Triple H on that stage.

Friday night was packed full of pro wrestling, and it appears that it was all dedicated to Bray Wyatt. Terry Funk also received tributes, but it was Bray Wyatt who kicked off AEW Rampage this week.
