WWE Hall of Famer Edge has been an integral part of the pro wrestling industry for well over two decades and has won numerous titles during his time in WWE. He also competed in what might have been his last match during Smackdown this week. Now it appears Jim Ross directly mentioned Edge on AEW Collision while rumors of his AEW debut persist.

Edge himself previously stated that his WWE contract will be over after this week’s Smackdown ahead of his match with Sheamus. He even revealed when his contract will be expiring.

Ringside News exclusively reported that there is an internal belief within WWE that Edge is going to AEW. After all, he has not signed a new contract with WWE.

During AEW Collision this week, Christian Cage took on Darby Allin in the main event. While Cage was making his way to the ring, Jim Ross talked about Edge & Christian and how he was key in their signing with WWE during the early 2000s.

Those in AEW also believe that Edge is signing with Tony Khan. We will have to wait and see whether the Rated R Superstar will make his way to AEW, as it would certainly shock the pro wrestling world to its core.
