WWE has a lot of plans in place, but that doesn’t mean everyone on the roster has something in store for them. It seems that the company drafted someone from NXT to the main roster without any plan in place.

Odyssey Jones was drafted to RAW as part of the 2023 WWE Draft, but he never made any real impression on the red brand. That being said, he was recently spotted backstage at SmackDown, with reports coming out that WWE was preparing for Jones’ debut on Friday nights.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that WWE never had any real creative plan in place for Odyssey Jones on RAW. He was still drafted to the brand.

“Based on what we’ve heard, there have never been significant creative plans on Raw for Odyssey Jones. We haven’t heard why, but he had been drafted to the brand.”

While nothing has been announced on television, and fans have not seen Odyssey Jones on RAW or SmackDown yet, the company is apparently still planning to use him. That being said, they didn’t have any plans ready for him on the red brand.
