Thunder Rosa is considered one of the best female in-ring competitors in the world right now. Unfortunately, she is currently dealing with a debilitating back injury and still remains out of action even now. While Rosa is still unable to compete, it appears she has fears of getting injured ahead of her AEW in-ring return.

Thunder Rosa’s back injury left her no choice but to withdraw from AEW All Out last year. Despite her absence, she maintained her status as the AEW Women’s Champion but eventually had to forfeit the title – with Jamie Hayter being recognized as the only AEW Women’s Champion at the time.

The former AEW Women’s Champion has been working hard rehabbing her injuries and clearly, she is feeling much better now. While Rosa is certainly feeling better, fans are concerned that she might not be ready for an in-ring return anytime soon.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Thunder Rosa talked about her physical health ahead of her eventual in-ring return. Rosa admitted that she has ears about getting reinjured.

If everything goes well I’ll be having my first five-minute match…a year since I’ve been injured. It’s been a year and like it’s hard to look back at it. I’m doing a lot better somedays because of the pressure and because I’m training a lot I get a little scared because I don’t want to get reinjured…I still have the injury, it hasn’t went away. The only thing that went away are the tears in my back…I’m a little nervous, not gonna lie.” Rosa says she prays every morning and every night that things go well and she’s on the road to recovery full speed. “This is the way it’s gonna happen.”

Thunder Rosa is working hard in order to make her in-ring return. It remains to be seen when Rosa will be healthy enough to make a proper return to the squared circle, as fans miss her dearly.

What’s your take on Thunder Rosa? Do you want her to return as soon as possible? Let us know in the comments!
