AEW did not keep Brian Pillman Jr around for one reason or another, and now fans are waiting on his next move. Although it was reported that his deal with WWE is in process, it doesn’t appear that it is a done deal at all right now.

It was reported that Brian Pillman Jr was around for NXT this week. He did not appear on the show, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen eventually.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted PW Insider’s previous report about Brian Pillman Jr. Then it was stated that those in WWE do not believe that the second-generation Superstar has signed a deal with the company yet.

PW Insider reported Brian Pillman Jr., to be starting on NXT television, which didn’t happen. The only thing we were told by those in the company is they believe he hasn’t been signed, that no creative involving him has been talked about, but that he is undergoing medicals and thus unless they discover something bad, he will be signed.

Vince McMahon barely had a chance to book Brian Pillman before his tragic passing. Now, Triple H could have an opportunity to place his son in angles, who many have stated has a ton of the Loose Cannon’s attributes. We will have to see what they can arrange, but there is certainly interest in bringing in the former Varsity Blonde.

Brian Pillman Jr. has not appeared for any other pro wrestling company since his AEW departure. Hopefully, he can wait until WWE figures out what they are going to do, because there could be some massive opportunities in his future.
