Summer Rae is fondly remembered for being one of the mainstays of the WWE women’s division back in the early 2010s. It has been quite a few years since she competed as an active in-ring competitor, but it appears Rae wants to return to pro wrestling as a manager.

Summer Rae signed with WWE in November 2011 and would remain with the company until her release in October 2017. She then developed her skills elsewhere and is now a supermodel.

While speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Summer Rae talked about her pro wrestling career. Rae admitted that she missed wrestling but can’t compete due to a condition. That said, are wants to make her pro wrestling return as a manager.

”So, I miss wrestling. I personally wouldn’t, I have a bone spur on a vertebra in my neck and I have Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.

“So, I’m doing good, but at the end of my injury, I kind of have the tingling in my hands where I couldn’t really open doors and that was a little scary to me.

I don’t think I could wrestle every week and be in that role. And I don’t think that’s my purpose either. I think, you know, being able to highlight talents, and pull the best out of them and being able to make them the main thing and being able to showcase new younger talent and bring them up with what I know from the business. I would love to do something like that.”

She was also annoyed by WWE for good reason last year. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether Summer Rae will return to WWE television as a manager this time around.
