WWE fans all over remember Marty Jannetty for a variety of reasons. Many of them were excited and very interested about the idea of his Dark Side of the Ring episode airing, but they didn’t tune in to see it.

Tuesday’s Dark Side of the Ring season finale episode featuring Marty Jannetty brought in 115,000 overnight viewers, down from last week’s 158,000 overnight viewers.

The episode did a 0.05 in the 18 to 49 demographic, down from last week’s 0.04. This is a bit of a surprise, because that episode had a lot of hype behind it.

The highest-viewed episode this season went to the Junkyard Dog’s episode, which brought in 229,000 viewers on June 17th. The lowest episode this season went to Adrian Adonis, who only pulled in 56,000 for that episode on July 11th.

The season debut episode with Tammy Lynn Sytch and Chris Candido brought in 147,000 viewers, and Doink’s episode if also notable with 201,000 viewers, the one episode other than Junkyard Dog to break that threshold.

It is also probably worth noting that right after the episode aired, multiple YouTube video accounts had their own copies of the Marty Jannetty episode on their channels. Those bootleg versions of the episode have also raked up hundreds of thousands of views.

We will have to see if Dark Side of the Ring returns. Vice is going through a lot of changes, and it’s anyone’s guess what is next for the series. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more updates, and leave your comments below to let us know what’s on your mind.
