AEW dropped new CM Punk t-shirt today for the Trevor Project charity, and it’s getting a lot of attention. Many fans jumped at the chance to merge politics and pro wrestling yet again.

CM Punk was also called out in big way as an old homophobic clip of him resurfaced after that trans pride merchandise dropped. Obviousy, this situation is getting a lot of fans talking today.

It seems that AEW went to a unique source for this new trans pride design. They apparently just took it from a fan. Although this fan doesn’t seem upset, it is still interesting to note that they apparently didn’t even notify them about this ahead of time.

An X account called @PunkOfTheEarth tweeted out to say, “can’t believe i made a trans flag punk logo and now it’s literally the same design on a shirt.”

We can only hope that this person does get a free t-shirt, because that’s the least of what they should be compensated. After all, AEW might be donating proceeds of this t-shirt to a charity, but they still make a lot of money off their merchandise in general, and that CM Punk t-shirt is getting a lot of traffic to their site today.

We will have to see how well the new CM Punk t-shirt sells. For more on this story, and many more in the pro wrestling world, stay turned with us here at Ringside News. As always, leave those comments below to be part of the conversation!
