Ronda Rousey lost to Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam. That MMA Rules match brought a lot of attention toward the Baddest Woman on the Planet, namely her future status in the company.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Ronda Rousey was “adamant” about putting Shayna Baszler over before the left. It was not noted whether Ronda Rousey will be back or not.

As mentioned last night, Ronda Rousey had been adamant that she wanted to team with Shayna Baszler, then put her over before taking time off. 

Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler told quite a story in their SummerSlam match. Some in Ford Field used their contest as an opportunity to get a bathroom break, but they certainly had a reason behind the finish.

Nobody has ever submitted Ronda Rousey in WWE, and Shayna Baszler was the first to do so. That being said, it’s all about the follow-up to see how WWE handles his next chapter for Baszler.
