Carmelo Hayes successfully defended the NXT Title at the Great American Bash, and that was a huge win in Texas. Trick Williams told Carmello before the event that he would have to leave his side and do his own thing after that match.

This week on NXT, Trick Williams made it clear that the time has come for him to step out on his own. Trick said that he will always be Hayes’ ride or die, but he has to do his own thing now.
