WWE star Ricochet has revealed that there is one move he won’t be doing in a WWE ring anymore, despite his reputation for breathtaking aerial maneuvers. The move in question is the double moonsault, which Ricochet last executed during his time at NXT TakeOver: WarGames in 2018.

In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Ricochet explained his decision not to perform the double moonsault anymore. While he acknowledged that he could still do it if he wanted to, he mentioned that he doesn’t have any plans to use the move again. Ricochet highlighted that executing the double moonsault requires significant practice, and since he hasn’t used it in a while, he would need time to hone the technique.

“Honestly, probably only the double moonsault maybe, and that’s not even — honestly, I probably could still do it if I wanted to do it. But I don’t want to, I don’t want to. I did it off the cage.

“I would have to actually take some time to practice, really practice because it’s just one that’s [not used often]. I was just asked the other day, when was the last time I even did it. And I couldn’t tell you the last time that I did the double moonsault, I don’t know.

The double moonsault has been a rare spectacle in Ricochet’s impressive career. Apart from the unforgettable moment when he performed it off the cage at NXT TakeOver: WarGames, Ricochet couldn’t recall any other instance when he used the move. Despite being renowned for his high-flying abilities, he expressed a lack of interest in incorporating the double moonsault into his current repertoire.

“Other than the one off the cage at NXT, before that, even like in the ring, man, I couldn’t tell you.”

Ricochet’s wrestling journey has been remarkable, from his successful independent career to joining WWE in January 2018. Since then, he has held various championships, including the NXT North American Championship, Intercontinental Championship, and United States Championship.

The WWE Superstar is now preparing for an intriguing showdown against Logan Paul at WWE SummerSlam on August 5 in Detroit, Michigan.
